Yes. For in-person notarizations, every signer must personally appear before the notary. For remote online notarizations (RON), you appear via live two-way video. We cannot notarize for absent signers under any circumstances.
A current, unexpired government-issued photo ID. Acceptable forms include a driver's license, state-issued ID card, U.S. passport, or military ID. If you don't have a qualifying ID, a credible witness who is known to the notary and knows you personally may be able to vouch for your identity.
